Pipe lining is a rehabilitation technique that allows you to repair damaged pipes without breaking through walls or tearing up floors. A fabric liner impregnated with epoxy resin is inserted into the existing pipe and then cured to form a new, watertight, and sturdy lining. Depending on the type of pipe, its diameter, and its configuration, our teams choose between two processes: resin spraying or UV-cured lining. In both cases: no breakage, no destructive work, and a long-lasting result.
This modern method restores your pipes by applying a high-performance epoxy resin directly inside them using a robot equipped with an HD camera.
The formed coating acts like a protective shell: it seals cracks and micro-leaks, neutralizes corrosion and restores pipes to their original tightness and strength.
The operation generally starts from high access points (roofs, attics, terraces). Our technicians first introduce a preparation robot to strip the walls, followed by a spraying system.
Equipped with a rotating head, this unit distributes the resin around the entire circumference of the pipes, in several successive layers, to achieve a final thickness of close to 3 mm.
The resin spraying technique isideal for rehabilitating pipes with numerous branches and connections, such as the downpipes of buildings that can be as tall as several dozen stories.
Generally speaking, it applies toall vertical sections of wet systems, for pipes with diameters ranging from 50 to 200 mm.
The work can be performed on the entire system or only on specific sections, such as in cases of minor cracks or localized leaks. This method thus allows for the rapid restoration of drainpipes, sewer collectors, sewage lines, and even complex branch networks.
It is also ideal forlining drywall systems or air ducts, such as ventilation ducts.
At Docteur Canalisation, we prioritize the use of high-quality pre-impregnated polyester liner to ensure the best possible results. The entire process is monitored in an ISO-certified factory.
The UVolution IA process enables full control with video recording and monitoring, featuring instant curing via UV light. It transforms the liner into a rigid, durable inner wall, equivalent to a new PVC pipe.
The result: a fully rehabilitated, watertight, and durable pipe system—without having to break up or replace the existing network—completed in record time.
This technique is particularly well-suited forlinear piping systems with few or no connections. This is the case for stormwater drainage systems and ventilation ducts.
It is alsohighly effective on sewer linesequipped with regular manholes or whose branch connections are easily accessible.
Continuous lining is also an ideal solution forthe rehabilitation of underground collectors and horizontal pipes.
Before performing pipe lining, our technicians conduct a thorough inspection of your pipeline system. This video inspection allows us to examine the pipe meter by meter and precisely locate cracks, leaks, deformations, and blocked areas. This step determines the choice of method: no decision is made without first assessing the actual condition of the pipeline system.
Once the diagnosis has been made, high-pressure jetting is performed to thoroughly clean the pipe walls. When mineral deposits or root intrusions block the passage, mechanical milling is used to supplement the high-pressure jetting. The pipe walls must be completely clean and clear before any pipe lining work can be performed.
The resin-impregnated liner is then inserted and pressed against the wall of the damaged pipe. Curing with UV light or heat hardens it in a matter of minutes, creating a new pipe inside the old one. Pipe lining is a non-destructive process that requires no demolition, and in the vast majority of cases, the pipe is back in service the same day.
Pipe lining repairs can be performed on the entire system or on a specific section, depending on the results of the inspection. We repair only the damaged sections—nothing more.
Our processes are suitable for all types of pipes: wastewater systems, sewage systems, stormwater systems, swimming pool pipes, ventilation ducts, and underground sewer systems. For spray lining, we work on pipes with diameters ranging from 50 to 200 mm. For UV lining, linear pipelines with few connections—such as buried horizontal collectors or pipes spanning several dozen meters—are particularly well-suited.
Thanks to pipe lining, repairing your pipes without breaking them is no longer a matter of budget or construction work: it’s a clean, quick process covered by the ten-year warranty.
Every network is different. The cost of pipe lining depends on the length of pipe to be treated, the pipe’s diameter, its accessibility, and its overall condition. That’s why we don’t offer flat-rate quotes: our technicians come to your location, conduct an inspection, and provide a quote based on what they find.

Pipe lining is a non-demolition renovation technique that involves creating a new internal wall inside damaged pipes. At Docteur Canalisation, we master several processes:
spray lining, where a resin is sprayed at 360° to form a protective second skin,
UV-cured sheathing, in which a resin-impregnated sheath is inserted and instantly cured by ultraviolet light.
These solutions restore the watertightness and solidity of your networks (wastewater, rainwater, swimming pools, ventilation) without destructive work.
Spray lining sprays an epoxy resin directly onto the walls. It's ideal for building columns, pipes with numerous fittings and diameters from 50 to 200 mm.
UV sheathing inserts a resin-impregnated textile sheath, which is then instantly cured under UV light. This technique is perfect for long, straight or semi-complex sections, guaranteeing exceptional durability.
👉 By combining these two technologies, Docteur Canalisation always offers the most suitable solution.
Yes, spray lining is particularly effective when it comes to renovating drop columns and vertical networks in buildings, even over dozens of storeys. The resin is sprayed on evenly, restoring an immediate watertight seal without having to replace the pipes.
UV lining involves inserting a resin-impregnated flexible liner inside the pipe. A UV lamp is then fired into the pipe, causing instant curing. This technology guarantees a rapid return to service and a strength comparable to that of a new PVC pipe.
Yes, both spray and UV lining processes can be used to repair in-ground pool pipes without breaking the slab, deck or pool. The result: total watertightness and significant savings compared with complete replacement.
At Docteur Canalisation, our resins and processes are laboratory-tested and comply with European standards. This allows us to be covered by decennial insurance*, guaranteeing the reliability and conformity of our work.
A pipe lining, whether achieved by resin spraying or by UV-cured sheathing, has a lifespan equivalent to a new pipe, i.e., more than 25 years under normal conditions of use.
Yes, PVC pipes can also be renovated. However, the economic benefits are often limited, as this material is easier to replace. Spray or UV lining is mainly used on buried, old or hard-to-reach pipes.
Our lining processes can be used to restore :
wastewater and blackwater networks,
rainwater pipes,
pool networks,
air ducts or ventilation ducts.
Resin spray,
Classic sheathing,
Sheathing with UV polymerization.
This enables us to adapt the solution to the type of network, its condition and the configuration of the building, guaranteeing rapid, sustainable and cost-effective rehabilitation.
Pool pipe lining is a non-demolition renovation technique for repairing cracked or leaking in-ground pipes. A resin or liner is applied to the inside of the pipe, creating a new, watertight wall. This process eliminates the need to break your terrace, deck or pool, while prolonging the life of your pipes.
Yes, Docteur Canalisation's processes comply with European standards and are covered by ten-year insurance. This guarantees the reliability and durability of the repair over time.
