Dr. Canalisation Var
Expert in pipe lining in the Var region
Pipe rehabilitation without excavation work
The Var and Alpes-Maritimes regions combine all the factors that cause premature wear and tear on pipes: often rocky and uneven terrain, periods of intense drought followed by torrential rains (the famous Mediterranean weather patterns), salty coastal air that corrodes metals, and maritime pines whose roots seek out water with considerable force.
When work needs to be done, traditional excavation methods often run into obstacles such as bedrock, sloping terrain, terraced fields, swimming pools, and landscaping. Pipe lining avoids all these complications. A resin liner is inserted into the existing pipe through a simple manhole and then cured in place. The result is a brand-new inner pipe without ever having to bring in an excavator.
It is precisely in these situations that pipe lining really comes into its own. On sloping, rocky terrain, excavation requires a rock breaker—and sometimes temporary retaining walls—and the site restoration costs as much as the work itself. The liner is installed inside the existing pipe—the nature of the soil doesn’t matter. Kevin accesses the pipe through manholes and works without disturbing the ground.
Yes. Salt corrosion is a recurring problem along the coastlines of the Var and the French Riviera. The resin lining forms a completely watertight barrier between the water and the corroded cast iron. It does not rust, does not degrade when exposed to salt air, and has a longer service life than a new cast iron pipe exposed to the same conditions.
Kevin is familiar with this request. Many owners of second homes or vacation rentals take advantage of the off-season to address plumbing issues. A camera inspection can be scheduled within 48 hours, and pipe lining work is typically scheduled within a week. Everything is wrapped up before the first guests arrive.
Prices vary depending on the length and diameter. But in the Var region, the cost savings are even more significant than elsewhere: excavation on rocky, sloping terrain is particularly expensive. Kevin provides a free, detailed estimate for each project following a camera inspection.

A professional team lined 10 linear meters of my home. My pipe, damaged over the years, was completely restored. Everything is clear: seriousness and service.
I'd been told that the pipe in my pool was too badly damaged and had to be replaced. In the end, thanks to the liner, everything was repaired in just a few hours, without any breakage and without draining the pool. The result was impeccable, the team professional and very informative. A real relief.
An exceptionally responsive, efficient and very professional team.
Don't hesitate to call on them, you have a problem, they have the solution.
Reasonable rates considering the services offered, the best choice, don't look elsewhere 🙏
Swimming pool, terraced gardens, landscaped garden: these are off-limits.
Finished in a day, even on rough terrain.
A rock breaker is expensive. Lining is much less so.
Resin doesn't rust, even by the sea.
